The healing power of the will /Akaratunk gyógyereje (angol)
Anyone that takes this book in their hand will find themselves on a magic carpet, flying with me on a journey of dis-covery - a tortuous, emotional journey, but one that has given me hope of healing and still does; and Im confident that this book will help others too to have that wonderful experience. My book isnt a collection of cook cleverly recipes but of tales about foods, flavoured with personal experiences, historical facts, the results of modern research and with folksy beliefs. Its main characters are foodstuffs, herbs and spices, drinks, fungi, vegetables and fruits which, in one form and another, can contribute to the improvement of your sight, the healing of your eyes, will strengthen your bodys resistance to disease and bring a shine not only to your outlook but also to your soul. While were putting our hopes in getting better and doing our utmost for the purpose we devote more time than usual to ourselves, and so we find out more about who we are and what our task is in this world. The author Katalin Eszterhai... ...is a journalist, TV reporter, producer and human rights activist. She and her family left Hungary in 1987, and she now lives in Can-ada with her husband, George Lajtai, who produced the photographic content of the book.
